Equip your hosting account with a secure payment merchant account solution

If your company wants to accept credit cards, you’ll need to choose from available merchant accounts and payment accepting services. Choosing the right one can be a daunting task. Comparing services and costs can be a challenge for someone new to the credit card processing game.

Considerations: Cost Per Month

When it comes right down to it, choosing a Merchant Account Service is a business decision. The monthly costs of a merchant account should weigh heavily in this category. Some people rely on PAYPAL simply because its free to set up and relatively free to use. The fact is, however, PAYPAL was created for EBAY as a way for all their users to capture payments. PAYPAL is not a merchant account and not even an approved PCI gateway. They are a payment aggregator. Thus, there are real downsides to using PAYPAL. They can hold your money at will for no reason and do AWS Creative Solutions LLC with a 20 year history with PayPal limited my account for 180 days holding my money at bay unaccessible. They can take up to 4 – 5 business days to get your money to you (unless you use their PAYPAL Debit card) which can be used instantly upon receipt of the funds. Finally users fundamentally don’t like the way PAYPAL works. Thus, it can be a turn-off to most visitors/customers.

AWS CREATIVE SOLUTIONS LLC will not recommend, refer to or support PAYPAL payments!

A true merchant account/gateway provider are a financial house providing PCI approved transactions. Depending on who you use, you can pay a sign up fee, a monthly fee, along with the discount percentage rate and a transaction fee. Others charge more if you want recurring monthly transactions. However, our personal recommendation is to use STRIPE, since theres no setup fee, no monthly fee and a low transaction fee.

Hosting-Master.com recommends STRIPE FOR ONLINE PAYMENTS.

Of course, there are a bunch of them out there. That’s why we recommend contacting your hosting provider and ask their help and recommendations for a merchant provider that is right for your business or nonprofit.
